Quick Covers are plastic slip-on rocker and cab corner covers that return your truck to its original appearance for thousands less than traditional rust repair! Our installation process involves removing and treating the corroded area to help prevent and slow down rust. Quick Covers slide over the original factory rocker and cab corner. They are attached with automotive grade double sided 3M tape and pop rivets.
Made of tough ABS plastic, Quick Covers are the only slip on rust panels that offer complete coverage. No welding required.
Quick Covers are available in two surface types;(select from drop down above)
Smooth- Smooth Quick Covers must be painted before installation to ensure UV protection. The smooth covers are ready to be cleaned, primed, and painted right out of the box. (*some surfaces are pre-sanded as a courtesy*)
Textured- The black textured finish resembles a spray on bed-liner. The textured covers have UV protective coating and are ready to install right out of the box.

Our Marketing Team Hates Us
Quick Covers panels fit so well, you can’t even tell they’re on. It’s difficult to show this in marketing pictures—most customers can’t believe it’s the same truck. The painted panels look like metal, and fit almost seamlessly onto the truck. Even the textured covers look like they might be a factory option. 11 years of experimentation has led to this day.
The History At Shaffer’s Auto Body (the place where the idea of Quick Covers was born), our special power was performing top notch auto body repair with amazing customer service. We were one of the only shops willing to accept rust work. Our name spread far and wide as people came to get their rusty trucks fixed. But we hated it.
We love automobiles. It’s our passion. But pulling somebody's prized truck apart to fix a small part of it hurt us. At that time, there was no better option. Those who could afford it, shelled out thousands of dollars and left behind their vehicles for many days in the shop. We had to turn a lot of customers away.
There had to be a better way. We tinkered with experiments, each one better than the last but still not good enough. First came slip-on steel covers, then we started hand-forming custom covers out of stainless steel (so they would last longer before rusting again).
That was a phenomenal development, but it still wasn’t an affordable option for most truck owners.
Why Not Steel? We considered dozens of materials, and then narrowed it down and tested 5 for rigidity, impact resistance, and quality of final finish. The ABS plastic was the clear winner in all these tests. Now, instead of hand-forming stainless steel panels we could use a state-of-the-art manufacturing process which brought the cost of production down immensely. Now we could provideallcar owners with this amazing advancement—easy to install, affordable, and custom-fit to each vehicle. Part of us wanted to keep this amazing product for ourselves. But a larger part of us wanted to share this phenomenal development with automobile lovers all across the United States. We separated the product from the body shop, started a new LLC, and quickly built up a solid customer base.
Made in the USA 🇺🇸 When we started out, we had zero experience in plastic thermoforming - which is the manufacturing process we use to make our covers. We can’t share too much without giving away trade secrets, but what we can tell you is that making a product that looks and fits perfectly turned out to be an order of magnitude more difficult than we thought it would be. The engineering process and manufacturing process is something we failed at multiple times. We tried outsourcing several different times with different people , and spent tens of thousands of dollars. It was all for naught. The results were basically the same poor quality products that were already on the market. If we wanted to make a superior product, we learned the hard way, we’d have to make it ourselves.
Today, we design, engineer, and manufacture all our products in-house, right here in the USA.
When left unchecked, rust is like an infection that spreads throughout a truck. This can lead to structural issues and giant holes requiring repairs in the thousands of dollars (that sticker shock may even be what led you here).
But you’ve made the right decision to act now.
Below, we’ll tell you everything you need to know about:
The type of results you can expect to see.
Why this solution was so difficult to make.
Where our quick covers are made (and who makes them).
Not For Everyone
We spent our hard earned money for an F-150, Silverado, Sierra, or Ram — not a rust bucket. We want our trucks to look damn good, just like the day we drove them off the lot.
Unfortunately, a lot of aftermarket products stick out like a sore thumb because they’re bulky and can’t be painted to match your truck’s color. It feels as if they were designed to be driving billboards for their brand.
When we designed our quick covers, we wanted them to fit seamlessly into the original design of your truck. It also needed to be receptive to paint so you could match it to your truck’s color.
This is why we’re called OAM — Original Appearance Manufacturing.
Here’s what you can expect to see:
For the cost of one monthly payment on a new truck, you can make your truck look brand new again.
But achieving results like this wasn’t easy…
We Were On Our Own
We tested various materials, from stainless steel to high density polyethylene (HDPE). Nothing was able to adequately combine durability with consistent appearance and formability. That is until we tried acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), a thermoplastic that’s already used in car interiors.
We tried finding a US manufacturer that could make our quick covers with this material, but what we discovered surprised us. None of them could do it while maintaining our specs and quality standards because the thermoforming industry was seriously outdated.
It seemed like companies figured out thermoforming in the 1990s1980s1970s, then never bothered to improve the technology since then.
With them, we were left with just a “good enough” part.
So we brought everything in house.
We hired engineers, purchased our own CNC machine, built our own thermoformer, and went all in to be the best small manufacturing company that we can be while having total control over our supply chain and quality.
Designed & Manufactured Right Here in the USA
By bringing everything in house, we were able to begin doing everything in America. This was an incredibly important decision for us, and for two good reasons:
#1 We want to support American jobs. 200,000+ jobs can be created in the US if everyone chooses to buy more American-made goods.
#2 We want to control every single step of the manufacturing process to ensure the highest possible quality. Our standards for quality are unmatched in this industry, and that’s not something we’re willing to budge on. Ever.
We could have chosen to outsource the manufacturing of our parts overseas. That certainly would have been cheaper.
We don’t know what everyone else is doing, but we felt it was our moral responsibility to support our home and deliver a top-end product. While it’s more expensive for us to do each step in the US, we think the quality and durability make it worth it.
We’ll Be Here When You’re Ready
In today’s world, there’s far too much pressure to buy now, act now. While you’re on our site, please don’t feel rushed. When you are ready, we look forward to making your truck look new again.
