Worked great, starter kit was recomended with the cab corners so it only made sense to order together. Made job easier when you had everything you needed and not having to try and get the stuff you needed after the fact

My 2001 Chevy Silverado 1500 Ext Cab went from looking like a scummy old rust bucket destined for the junk yard at any second, to a customized gorgeous truck, no kidding. So after adding a couple of textured black rocker panel & cab corner covers from the genius inventors at OAM, then I used a clay bar system, a buffer with rubbing and finishing compound, and the scum is gone & the clear shines again. You may be thinking that I am off the subject, but nope I am not at all, because if I did not do the other work I mentioned to a truck that had the entire rocker panel and cab corners gone in it, I think my closer friends would have checked me in to the closest mentally ill facility, and I would not have fought it. Due to this being the first move toward restoration I decided to do on saving the old rusted bucket, was rebuild the cab corners & rocker panels using this OAM covers, I would have done nothing else. I must mention That I also purchased the rocker panel re-reinforcements, because if you don't have a rocker panel lip to pop rivet to, you end up with a wavy, uneven crappy workmanship looking bottom of your rocker, and don't blame the people at OAM, because in their tutorials & other advice areas, they stressed the crap out of this. Of course just like you, I was not going to spend even more money on what was only a hope at the time, till I realized this will be awesome looking, and I need that reinforcement for perfection, besides iIdidn't have a way to mount a step my wife requested without it, again a real life saver, cause my wife is 5' 2" and needs a bit of help getting in this and any truck. More importantly though, she is super hot and I hate to deal with her disappointment as it is so painfully unrewarding, but instead strive for honoring her requests, as it is quite the opposite effect than the one previously mentioned, I think you get my point here. ;) Anyways, thanks for your time, I promise I shot you straight here, and again Thank you OAM, your little plastic covers just saved another old trucks life, cause it is not the first one, no need for me to even ask.

The quick covers were an excellent way cost effective way of dealing with the rust commonly occurring with 2009-20014 F150 cab rear corners. Most people don’t realize it is not part of the original pickup unless I point it out tot them

Everyone talks about the price, yes there are cheaper corner covers out there, but none are like these.. these extend out to the side, which covers more area, unlike the others.. If I was to have a dealership fix it, they cut out a big side chunk, just to weld some back in, which would have been around $2,000+ (don't believe me? Go get a quote from Ford like I did). So I'd honestly say the price is fair, and the shipping is amazing, I got the parts in 2 days, forgot to order the kit to install, ordered that and got it the very next day. Highly recommend these people. I even showed the Ford dealer ship and they are saving this website to share with others as well.

Ordered and installed, everything turned out great, easy to install, looks like a new truck. Very good product

My truck is looking great again after having installed OAM’s covers. Installation was reasonably straightforward and hopefully this look will last for a few years to come.

Started getting some rust spots on my cab corners. Body shops quoted me an average of 2 grand per side. Glad I found these online. Much cheaper option and installation was a breeze. Hope I don't have to but would definitely buy again.

Happy with how it all turned out. Not bad for a weekend project.

It saved time and money. Definitely recommend.

2009-2014 F-150 Crew Cab, Slip On Rocker Panel + Cab Corner Cover

I have a 2008 Ford F150 Lariat that I bought new in March of 2008. I have always thought this truck was one of the prettiest trucks on the road. I have serviced it myself except for the 100,000-mile spark plug change... don't get me started. Oil changes were done every 4,000 miles. My truck was a work truck but I took care of it and kept it looking good. About two years ago, I noticed while washing the truck there was the tell-tale rust color bleeding through the paint on the cab corners. How was this happening? I always kept my truck clean.
I did a little poking around and found that the rust was worse than I thought. While the rust was limited to just the cab corners, the metal was pretty well gone in spots and the paint was covering some badly rusted metal underneath. Like most guys, I checked with some local body shops to see about having the metal replaced. One shop didn't want to bother with a "small job." The shops that would do the work, wanted thousands of dollars. How much money did I want to invest in a 15-year-old truck with 160,000 miles? It is a great running truck with good life left in it, but did I want to drop that much money into it? I let the situation ride for a couple of months. I found myself not wanting to drive my truck as much and would drive the car instead. I no longer wanted to bother washing it. I just didn't feel good about my truck any longer.
I stumbled across OAM covers online and reviewed their products. I thought I would give it a try and see how it turned out. My truck has a two-tone paint scheme. I knew it would take a little more work taping off for the two colors, but even if I totally screwed it up, it would look better than a truck with rust holes in the cab corners.
I bought the starter kit. I cut out the rusted metal and treated the areas as per the directions. The videos posted on OAM were very helpful. I was not in a big hurry and was able to take my time. I bought the truck paint and clearcoat online from a place called "Scratches Happen." I was pleased with the quality of the spray paint they provided. You can see from my attached photos the before and after of my truck. There are some guys at work that I shared my results with and they were amazed. They had never heard of a plastic overlay to cover rusted cab corners. They thought I was joking about having done it myself in my own garage.
I was worried about the two-sided tape and rivets not sufficiently securing the plastic to my truck. I am not worried about that anymore. If you take the time and prepare surfaces as directed, the OAM plastic is locked into place and isn't going anywhere.
The end of the story is, I feel good about my truck again. I think it is still one of the best-looking trucks on the road. I enjoy watching other guys notice my truck... you know, it's a guy/truck thing.
I don't know anyone from OAM. I have not received any discount for giving this testimonial. I took the time to write this review because I know there are guys out there like me in the same situation. They have a good running truck that they wished looked better but don't want to sink thousands of dollars in it. I would tell you to give OAM a try. I am pleased with the way it looks and have a degree of satisfaction having done it myself.
Best of luck to you.

These fit well and are very easy to install, a must have if your rocker has no bottom to attach rivets.. great product very happy with results

I installed the covers in a couple hours.. after pre prep. Total project took about 4-5 hours including the rust inhibitor drying.. absolutely the best alternative to big dollar restoration… Nobody can tell, most people thought I bought a different truck! 110% satisfied customer. Would recommend it to anyone, I went with the textured covers as my truck already had stone guard on it.. just taped and resprayed the bottom.. looks amazing

Great items makes my truck look new again 👍

Great product and easy installation besides putting on the 3M tape, that’s a bit of a chore but take your time doing it.
