Look at whole lot better
Unfortunately the paint doesn't match exactly. My own fault honestly. I used a lighter primer then factory. The main thing is those eye sores of rotten rust are out of sight until I can find an affordable decent body shop to get the permanent fix. Definitely a must buy for peace of mind. They also add additional integrity to the vehicle. Sure nowhere near as strong as steel but I'll take every advantage i can. Do feel flimsy before you put them on though

Best bang for the buck and very satisfied!
Was easy to install and very happy with how the truck looks after installing. It's a shame a truck that's only 6 years old had that much rust in the cab corners and rockers. Saved me $5000 that I was quoted to fix the rust.

2008 GMC Sierra Extended-Cab from central Massachusetts.
2008 GMC Sierra Extended-Cab from central Massachusetts. Driver-side rocker +40% gone and super-ugly - along with 80% of the underneath portion. Passenger-side rocker 20% gone. Purchased both the pre-textured covers and the quick-brackets. Needed to get creative with removing the original rust/rot mess. Nothing fancy - just a hammer, wire-brush and snips - and more hammer. Sprayed and greased the heck out of everything except where the tape goes. Once prepped - the install of the brackets and the covers was super easy. Perfect fit all around. Truck color is dark maroon - and the black pre-textured covers make the truck look brand new. Needed to skip the removal of the rear-door strikers - too far gone - too risky for getting them back together. Just snipped out the section of the covers and installed over strikers. Also a small adventure on the passenger side. The underneath was about 40% gone - so the quick-bracket was needed - but where the underneath was "good-ish" - somewhat of a challenge in a few spots with getting the rivets through both the original metal + the quick-bracket. In the few spots where the rivets did not work - just used a super-healthy glop of JB-Weld and a large Staples office clip. Looks funky from underneath - but they ain't coming off. Can't see them from the normal/side view. Awesome product - Highly recommended . . .

Great looking product
When I first took the rocker panel pieces out of the box, I was a little disappointed how thin they were. However, they were one piece, easy to install and they fit perfect. They look great on the truck too. I got the black semi-rough panels and they matched the trim and running boards on the truck and saved me extra cost to paint. I actually did not install them myself because I did not have the time to grind out all the rusted stuff and treat. But the installer said they were easy to put on once the rust removal/arrest work was done. Tom Jones at The Body Shop in Versailles KY installed them for $1,000. I had two quotes over $3,200 to repair and one shop wouldn't touch it. It took about a week. You can't see them when the doors are closed except the rear cab panel riser.

These things fit like a glove! When they first arrived, I thought they looked thin and flimsy, but when I started the installation, I was amazed at how they fit so perfectly. My truck is black so I ordered the textured black and my truck has never looked this good! I watched a few videos on your website first and my installation went great. I think it was money well spent. I thank you and my truck thanks you too🙂
