I am glad that I purchased the panel covers!
It made my truck look a lot nicer!
Not too bad to install if ya kinda know what you are doing. The videos helped. I definitely needed the sheet metal too. I could not have done it without that!!
Highly recommend the quick covers to any one with rusted rockers and cab corners on 99 thru 2006 Silverado and Sierra's. Installation is easy and they look great on my 2006 Silverado 2500 HD. They may seem expensive up front, but in my opinion, worth every penny! Their customer service is great also.
Bought these for my sons truck. We prepped and painted them with matching paint color. Looks great.
My OEM's was about 3/4" too short they just barely tuck in under the front fender. That's why the 4 stars. Other than that they are a perfect fit and look great
As long as you follow the instruction you can't go wrong. The starter kit comes with everything you need ( except the colored paint too match your vehicle) to prepare and prime your rocker covers and your vehicle to install your covers. One stop shopping.
On one side of my 05 Silverado the rust was so bad I used the brackets that I ordered and they ( two part brackets ) went on very easy with the self taping screws. I installed the OEM covers by myself and they weren't that hard too do, yea it would have been nice to have help but I didn't need it and I'm 67 years old so if I can do it so can you
Thanks OEM for saving me thousands of dollars ( go price how much it cost to have your rocker panels repaired/replaced) and having a great product!! Below is a before and after pictures. The pic's without the running boards is after I put on the OEM covers
